BLOCX. Desktop: Release Update

Our team has successfully completed the updated version of BLOCX. Desktop. To contribute to our ongoing excitement and shed light on the highly anticipated releases, including GRIDBOX, the algorithm change, Web Wallet release, and Mobile Wallet update, we have decided to hold off on the release of the updated Desktop version.

But fret not, the Desktop team is continuously on the move and will utilize this time to speed up our malware scan, ensuring the deliverable is even faster than it currently is. Once we release the Desktop update, our team will start working on the safebrowser. Also, kindly note, the next BLOCX. Desktop will be the last one you need to download as it will be auto-updatable thereafter! Stay tuned for this exciting Desktop update after the release of our algorithm change and final GRIDBOX release.

GRIDBOX Update: Testing

GRIDBOX testing has started, and here’s how it’s gone so far: On the first day, we identified some major bugs, which our team has successfully resolved. Today (5th Aug), marks DAY 2 of testing. In total, there are 5 DAYS of testing. During this timeline, our team will simultaneously fix bugs and polish the system, preparing for the public launch. Expect a lot of buzz and posts about GRIDBOX on X as we continue our testing!

BLOCX. Wallet Update: Web Wallet and Mobile Wallet

Our Blockchain team has been working on adding a Bridge directly to the Web Wallet, which is now 80% complete. We can expect the Web Wallet update to land within this week, with continued work on the Mobile Wallet coming shortly thereafter.

New Partnership with DePIN NEWS: Last week, we announced our new partnership with DePIN News, our first-ever Media Partner. They will support and share our journey in the DePIN World. BLOCX now has three categories of partnerships:

Critical testing continues this week. Once testing is completed, the release will be announced! To accommodate any unforeseen changes that might arise during testing, we cannot promise a final release date just yet. We are aiming to deliver this week, provided no major bugs come up, but we cannot make any direct promises.

BLOCX. Desktop: Ongoing Enhancements

As mentioned above, our Desktop team will be working on our Malware Scanner to ensure quick, custom, and full scanning that's even faster than before!

Blockchain: Algorithm Change and Migration

The Blockchain team is almost set. We are on the last task, which is difficulty adjustment—an essential step, especially for miners. Once this is done, we will release the testnet for pools to adapt. You can expect a block height announcement within this week, indicating the exact migration time. Let’s embrace this exciting new beginning—it’s the dawn of the GPU era.

BLOCX. Wallet: Web Wallet & Mobile Wallet Updates

First up this week, the release of our Web Wallet update will take place. This prepares the team to release APIs for the Mobile Wallet and proceed with implementing the bridge directly to our Mobile Wallet, which will be released shortly thereafter.
