The Anyone Protocol enables any app to instantly and easily run on a decentralized privacy network. Universal privacy, powered by DePIN.
About the Project
Anyone is driven by the belief that internet privacy, despite gaining substantial public attention, is being compromised at an unprecedented rate. Recognizing privacy as a fundamental right, Anyone aims to change mainstream expectations around internet products to restore this essential right. The mission is to build the largest internet-routing DePIN in the world—a modular privacy layer that can be seamlessly integrated into any application. However, the collective mission extends beyond just building a network; it is about making privacy the default in every product, every time, with no excuses.
Use Case
Anyone offers trustless scalability by securing its network through code and scaling via aligned incentives and on-chain game theory. The network becomes more secure as more relays run, with uniquely low requirements for running a relay making participation accessible. Out-of-the-box solutions include a unique SDK that allows coders to connect any app to the network with just two lines of code, while optimized circuits and network management ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met. This is part of a larger movement towards privacy, where users are judged by their contributions rather than their network, developers are encouraged to integrate privacy by default, and everyone is urged to spread the word and grow the network, fostering a sense of collective ownership.
Tokenomics
The ANyONe Protocol Token is the lifeblood of the Anyone ecosystem, facilitating network access and control, and incentivizing relay operators. As use-cases for Anyone grow and network participation expands, the token naturally accrues value within the ecosystem. The ANyONe Token is an ERC20 token on the Ethereum mainnet with a fixed supply of 100 million tokens. As part of the Anyone Incentive Layer, the token exists in a 'wrapped' format on Arweave, where it plays a crucial role in regulating the network. The token operates under a Proof-of-Uptime mechanism, rewarding participants based on their active and useful contributions to the network. Staking $ANYONE is required for every software relay, service, and authority in the network, ensuring resilience against sybil attacks through well-distributed token ownership.
The incentive structure allows high-demand relays to token-gate their circuits, enabling high-throughput users and enterprises to use the token to 'subscribe' to these nodes. The token plays a signaling and incentive role in the network, allocating supply where demand is highest and channeling revenue back into the protocol. Through this carefully balanced set of incentives, Anyone ensures that its network remains robust, secure, and scalable, driving the mainstream adoption of privacy-first internet products.
